Earlier last month, Marvin Brubacher, Executive Director of MentorLink Canada, jointly lead a Passing it On seminar in the Democratic Republic of Congo. A small group of church leaders and pastors gathered in Kinshasa to learn the 5 core values of Jesus. This seminar helps leaders move from leading in the flesh toward leading more like Jesus, acquiring the heart, attitudes, motives and character of a true Christ-centered leader. The discussions were deep and engaging, around the various round tables.
22 people attended plus the three who conducted the seminar: Marvin, Pastor Nubako Selenga, and his associate Abraham Mudidi. The intimate gathering allowed for deeper discussions, despite several difficulties that needed to be overcome.
Please pray for the leaders and pastors that attended, that they will develop rich mentoring relationships in their churches and ministries. Also pray for Pastor Selenga and Abraham Mudidi, that they will be able to share Passing it On throughout their country and raise up more mentors among the church leaders and pastors in there.
