DWJ Hausa: Nearing Completion

Would you join us in praying as our team nears completion on DWJ Hausa?  Our hope is to have this new language completed in the next few weeks so we can distribute this much-requested and much-needed discipleship material in areas that are eager to learn more of Jesus and His ways.

Hausa is spoken as a first language by an estimated 24 million speakers and as a second or third language by an additional 15 million people across a broad band of countries of West Africa, including Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Eritrea, Ghana, Niger, Sudan and Togo. The church membership has grown to over hundred persons in three weeks. We need materials for discipleship in their language, because the people are illiterate.”

How Can I Help?

We value your prayers. For our production team, for our ministry partners, for the deployment and distribution of this material. Ask the Father to use this resource to introduce people to Jesus and grow in their love and knowledge of who He is.

  • Help Take DWJ to the Hausa-Speaking World.
There are real financial costs associated with producing DWJ in new languages. Find out ways you can help financially.

  • Spread the Word.
Tell others about DWJ! Do you know of any individuals or churches who might want to undertake sponsoring a language? Introduce them to this powerful resource.

Another one of our ministry partners in Africa writes, “This year our ministry clocks 30 years of preparing cross-cultural missionaries for frontier missions…We plan to host alumni, partners, church and mission leaders, [along with] friends of the ministry…for a celebration of God’s faithfulness.

“We also hope that the 40 Days Hausa are available by then…it would be a good forum to showcase a good strategy to make disciples of the Hausa speaking world.

“[Our hope is that] all participants at the event
would be able to go away with a copy [of DWJ].”
