Passing It On! Seminars!
Last fall Executive Director, Marvin Brubacher, conducted local church Passing It On! (PIO) seminars with leaders from the Mount Zion Worship Centre in Toronto and King Bible Church in Ontario. Both pastors spoke of significant results with people now engaged in mentoring others, and one spoke of how their elders’ meetings have changed positively from walking through The Leader’s Covenant together. Additional seminars are being planned for Fall 2015.
Ethiopian Church Projects
MentorLink Canada is very excited about a partnership with the president of Kale Hewyet Church in Ethiopia to bring the transformational values of Jesus into leadership training processes of this large evangelical denomination (8,500 churches with 8.5 million members). This will involve developing a training seminar using The Leader’s Covenant and Passing It On! materials as a foundation that will be taught throughout their 125 Bible colleges.
