In May, 35 leaders from 11 African countries gathered together to study the transformational values of leading like Jesus, to fellowship with one another, and to discern how to develop a Christ-like mentoring movement in Africa.
Each left with an action plan to advance mentoring as a means of discipleship in their home country. Among those in attendance were two Bible college presidents, three denominational leaders and several national network leaders.
Following the event, one of the participants stated, “It has amazed me how God by His Spirit has transformed me and others through mentor interactions in MentorLink.”
Our prayer is that each one in attendance would take these Kingdom values, implement them, and teach others to do the same.
